Mini Golf Team-Building Activity

In today’s workplace, fostering collaboration, creativity, and employee well-being isn’t optional—it’s essential. Traditional team-building activities can sometimes feel forced, but there’s a fun and refreshing alternative: Portable Mini Golf.

When played in teams and given a competitive twist, it becomes much more than just a break from routine.

Mini Golf Team Building

Here’s why mini golf could be the perfect fit for your next workplace event

  1. Accessible to Everyone

Not everyone enjoys – or is able to join in high-energy activities like sports. Mini golf levels the playing field. It’s simple to play, inclusive of all ages and fitness levels, and creates a shared experience that everyone can enjoy.
  2. Built-In Teamwork Without the Awkwardness

Playing in teams naturally encourages interaction across departments. From strategising to cheering each other on, mini golf builds stronger interpersonal connections that carry back into the workplace.
  3. Instant Morale Boost & Stress Relief

With its playful obstacles and light-hearted moments, mini golf is joyful by nature. It reduces stress, sparks laughter, and gives the brain a break – leaving employees refreshed, re-energised, and more positive.
  4. Healthy Competition Fuels Motivation

A leaderboard, small prizes, or even bragging rights turn mini golf into a motivating, memorable experience.
  5. Portable & Hassle-Free

No need to book a venue or arrange transport. All you need is a space of at least 7m x 7m – a break room, office, conference area, lobby, courtyard, or even a rooftop works perfectly.
  6. Memorable Moments Build Culture

Events like this stick. Teams joke about their “championship,” photos circulate internally, and shared memories strengthen company culture, boosting engagement and retention.

Our frequently asked questions

What areas do you cover?

Being centrally located, we can easily travel to most areas in the UK (England, Scotland, and Wales). On occasion, we do travel farther afield and have attended events in places such as Cannes, France.

How much space do you need to set up?

For our complete 9-hole layouts, we need a level space of at least 12m x 6m (fewer holes, of course, require less space!). This can be either indoors or outdoors. We can set up on most surfaces – learn more about the course specifications.

For single-hole events (such as trade stands), a minimum space of 2m x 1m is required.

If you need guidance regarding your location and the space required for a course, feel free to contact us – we’d be glad to assist.

Do I have to hire all 9 holes?

Not at all. For smaller events or venues with limited space, get in touch with us for advice on the best setup for your occasion.

I require something a bit more bespoke

We can personalise all parts of our crazy golf course to suit your brand and goals, including course obstacles, playing surfaces, balls, flags, scorecards, pencils, and fully custom-made courses.

Over the years, we’ve created some wonderful bespoke courses for all types of clients. For more information, take a look at our Corporate Events section.

What time do you arrive onsite to start setting up?

We aim to arrive on site at least one hour before your event starts, but we’re happy to discuss and adjust this with you as needed.

How long does it take to set up and disassemble the course?

With good vehicle access to the course space, it typically takes between 45 and 60 minutes to set up the full 9-hole course. Disassembling the course takes roughly the same amount of time.

Do you staff the activity?

This is up to you, the client. Most events require our team to stay with the course and manage the activity, but if you don’t need us to stay, that’s absolutely fine too!

What happens if it is raining during the event?

Our outdoor crazy golf courses are designed to withstand British weather all year round, so your guests can still play in the rain if they’d like to (we always provide umbrellas). We can also supply a number of gazebos if required.
