FAQs

Our frequently asked questions

Wedding Events

What areas do you cover?

Being centrally located, we can easily travel to most areas in the UK (England, Scotland & Wales), so please contact us to discuss more. We do ask for additional travel cost if the (wedding) venue is further than 50 miles from our HQ in Shropshire.

How much space do you need to set up?

For our complete 9 hole layouts, we need a level space of at least 12m x 6m (this is the bare minimum), which can be either indoors or outdoors.

We can set up on mown grass, or ideally on solid surfaces like concrete, tarmac or paved areas, provided they’re level. Learn more about the course specifications.

If you need guidance about your location and the space needed for a course, contact us, we’d be glad to assist.

Do I have to hire all 9 holes?

Not at all. For smaller events or venues with limited space, get in touch with us for advice on the best setup for your occasion. Please note that, in most cases, this won’t result in a reduction of the hire fee.

When will my wedding guests play the course?

It’s entirely up to you when we arrive, but typically, most couples prefer us to assemble the crazy golf course during their ceremony, ensuring it’s ready for your guests to play during the daytime drinks reception.

How long do we have the crazy golf course at our wedding?

We will stay with the crazy golf course for up to 4 hours (play time), this doesn’t included setup or disassemble time. On average, wedding couples ask for 2 – 2.5 hours (play time), which we have found is plenty of time for guests to enjoy multiple rounds of golf.

As a rule of thumb we disassemble no later than 8:30pm.

What time do you arrive onsite to start setting up?

We will try to arrive on site at least 1 hour before your event starts.

How long does it take to set up and disassemble the course?

With good vehicle access to the course space, it typically takes between 45 and 60 minutes to set up the full 9-hole course. Disassembling the course takes roughly the same amount of time.

Do you stay with the activity?

Two members will stay with the course throughout our time at the wedding, interacting with your guests and manage the activity.

Is there an age limit to play?

As a general rule, our course is suitable for ages 6 and up. However, with adult supervision, younger children can also use it.

What happens if it is raining during the event?

Our outdoor crazy golf courses are designed to cope with the British weather all year around. So your guests can still play if it is raining if they would like to (we will always provide umbrellas).

With plenty of notice and available space, we can always use one of our indoor courses.

How do I secure my booking?

To secure any booking we require a 50% deposit (of your hire cost) and a completed booking form. (Please note that all deposits are non-refundable). The remaining balance will be due 14 days before the hire day.

Corporate Events

What areas do you cover?

Being centrally located, we can easily travel to most areas in the UK (England, Scotland, and Wales). On occasion, we do travel farther afield and have attended events in places such as Cannes, France.

How much space do you need to set up?

For our complete 9-hole layouts, we need a level space of at least 12m x 6m (fewer holes, of course, require less space!). This can be either indoors or outdoors. We can set up on most surfaces – learn more about the course specifications.

For single-hole events (such as trade stands), a minimum space of 2m x 1m is required.

If you need guidance regarding your location and the space required for a course, feel free to contact us – we’d be glad to assist.

Do I have to hire all 9 holes?

Not at all. For smaller events or venues with limited space, get in touch with us for advice on the best setup for your occasion.

I require something a bit more bespoke

We can personalise all parts of our crazy golf course to suit your brand and goals, including course obstacles, playing surfaces, balls, flags, scorecards, pencils, and fully custom-made courses.

Over the years, we’ve created some wonderful bespoke courses for all types of clients. For more information, take a look at our Corporate Events section.

What time do you arrive onsite to start setting up?

We aim to arrive on site at least one hour before your event starts, but we’re happy to discuss and adjust this with you as needed.

How long does it take to set up and disassemble the course?

With good vehicle access to the course space, it typically takes between 45 and 60 minutes to set up the full 9-hole course. Disassembling the course takes roughly the same amount of time.

Do you staff the activity?

This is up to you, the client. Most events require our team to stay with the course and manage the activity, but if you don’t need us to stay, that’s absolutely fine too!

What happens if it is raining during the event?

Our outdoor crazy golf courses are designed to withstand British weather all year round, so your guests can still play in the rain if they’d like to (we always provide umbrellas). We can also supply a number of gazebos if required.
